Restored

I painted this candlestick while I was bored last night. That's a custom color I mixed up and then used German Silver gilder's wax to accent. So pretty!

Here's the coffee table in progress. I'm working with metallic paint so I'm kind of goofing around with it to see how I really feel about it. The color is warm silver (it's a rich champagne color, not really silver at all). The metallics in the paint give it a bit more texture than I'm accustomed to so I used that feature to show my brush strokes in an "artistic" manner. If you know me, you know I'm not remotely artistic! Honest opinions are welcome. I love doing this and I highly value feedback! Thanks!

I've had this large coffee table for nearly two years. It has finally revealed it's true hidden character to me! It may sound crazy, but the furniture always tells me what it should look like. Sometimes I have to be patient longer than other times. I hope I can do it justice. A few nicks in the wood had to be filled in and now it's ready for the next phase. I'll update again soon!

I worked so hard on this bedside table and it only turned out BEAUTIFUL!!! Love LOVE this!
