Just a refresher about fishmarketproject...

Tuesdays 4 pm-9 pm
Wednesdays 4 pm-9 pm
Saturdays 11 am- 4 pm

Open hours are your time to come and make art including sketching, painting, writing, etc. Folks can also use the space to view the current exhibit, peruse our books or meet over creative projects.

Also, on Thursdays, The Fish Market is one of the places where folks can get fresh, organic produce from Soulfire Farm. We give out fresh vegetables to the community for free starting at 3 pm until we run out.

Special events throughout the year include free creative workshops, opening receptions for art exhibits, and the monthly open mic, Between the Lines which happens every last Tuesday at 7 pm. Follow the page for dates on other special events.

It used to be an actual fish market that's been repurposed into a community art space by the Arts Center of the Capital Region and is open for you to explore your creativity.

There have been artist talks, community gatherings, panel discussions, poetry open mics, and free workshops covering drawing, creative writing, dance, drumming, acting and self-care for your creativity.
