Just updating things on our page. This is the Fall Favorites collection from Come Jam With Me.

With all the unyielding cold we've had lately, I am definitely thinking ahead to warmer weather.

The Birch Tree is a Russian folk song that I found in an early 1900's collection of international folk songs at the Forbes Library in Northampton, MA. The English translation is by Jacob Robbins - I narrowed down the original 25 or so verses to the ones I thought most family-friendly for my Kids' Jam classes, now online as Come Jam With Me.

I just posted the song on my Bandcamp page, a preview of more spring songs to come when the weather is a bit more attuned to them, and a reminder that gentler days will eventually be here. Enjoy!
