Congratulations to Sam and Rish!! They won First Place in the Applied Category in Rensselaer's Sixth Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium. The title of their project was, "Optimizing Fabrication of Gold Scanning Tunneling Microscope Probes through Electrochemical Etching".
Check out Sam and Rish's video of a Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM) probe fabricated by a two-step electrochemical etching process.
