Local College, Government and Industry Leaders attend groundbreaking ceremony at HVCC last Wednesday.

On Wednesday, April 11, Hudson Valley hosted the groundbreaing for its newest facility, the Gene F. Haas Center for Advanced Manufacturing Skills (CAMS). Dr. Andrew J. Matonak, president of Hudson Valley; the College Board of Trustees; the Board of Directors of the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation; elected officials, manufacturing industry leaders; students, faculty and staff were all in attendance to celebrate the momentous event.

HVCC| College Celebrates Groundbreaking on New $14.5 Million Center for Advanced Manufacturing Skills Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 85 programs with locations in Albany, Troy, Malta and other areas throughout the Capital Region.

Another $1.5 million grant toward the Gene Haas Center for Advanced Manufacturing to be built on the HVCC campus. This last major grant answers the question of whether there will be enough funding available to build our new facility. Projected spring ground breaking appears certain!
