Participants Needed for SCI Research Study 💡
This study opportunity is offered on behalf of Dr. Gino Panza's lab at Wayne State University. Wayne State University and the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center are conducting a study to learn how a breathing therapy can improve:
• Blood pressure control
• Sleep quality
• Motor function and cognition
Who can join?
• Adults aged 18-60 with motor incomplete spinal cord injuries (above the 12th thoracic vertebrae) with large blood pressure changes (testing available if unsure)
What’s involved?
• 11 visits to the VA Medical Center in Detroit (3 overnight; the rest during the day)
• Flexible scheduling to fit your needs
• Participants will be compensated
