Okay I said what I said. Heated Rivalry just hits different. The cinematography, the storytelling, THE CLUB SCENE, THE KISS!!!!! Off Campus is cute but it is not the same.

That is exactly how I think about my work.

Anyone can take cute family photos. But I am over here obsessing over every frame, every moment, every unscripted second. Because your family deserves more than cute. They deserve something that stops you in your tracks when you walk past it on your wall.

Yes, I said it. Time doesn’t have time for the right season. For the right weight. For when the kids are a little older or when things slow down a little.

Spoiler alert: things DON’T slow down.

It just keeps going. And one day you are going to want proof that this chapter happened.

I became a photographer because I know what it feels like to reach for a photo that was never taken. And I never want that for your family.

So go text someone you have not seen in a minute. Tell them you love them. And maybe while you are at it, book that session you have been putting off.

Your future self will thank you. And your kids will too. Probably. They are kids so no guarantees. ✌🏼

So I just got summoned for jury duty. And honestly? With a psychology degree and a true crime obsession, I am not sure if I am the ideal juror or their worst nightmare.

And that same brain that has listened to approximately 400 hours of crime podcasts is also the reason I am really good at reading people during a session.

I can tell when a kid is two seconds from a meltdown before it happens. I know when a mom is holding her breath hoping everyone cooperates. I can feel when a family finally relaxes and that’s when I start getting the real shots.

So yeah. Psychology degree. True crime addict. Freshly summoned juror. And your family photographer who will absolutely notice everything and use it to get the best pictures of your people.

The problem isn’t whether or not you’re photogenic. It’s that someone, somewhere, made you believe you had to be.

But here’s what I know, from one mom to another: the most meaningful photos aren’t about looking perfect. They’re about pausing life for a minute so you can actually see the love that’s been there all along.

Between school drop-offs, endless snack requests, and wondering how it’s already bedtime again, I know how much you’re holding. That’s why my sessions are designed to feel like an exhale. You don’t need to prep a performance. You just get to show up with your people.

I’ll walk you through every step. I’ll make space for the big belly laughs, the quiet snuggles, and all those in-between moments you don’t even realize you’ll miss until later.

If your dogs are part of your family, they are absolutely welcome at your session. I say this as someone whose own dogs run the marketing department around here.

You do not need to stress about perfect behavior, perfect timing, or perfect anything. Sometimes we get a few blurry tails or the occasional dog butt, and that is okay. Those are easy to edit out.

What you are left with are the moments that actually matter. The way they sit at your feet. The way they look at you. The way they are part of your story in this season of life.

And I promise you this. Years from now, you will be so grateful you included them.
