Congratulations Sharon Gardlund!
Congrats to Sharon Gardlund, the 2023 recipient for the Southern Arizona ACS Local Section. Sharon is an exemplary volunteer & leader with the Women's Chemistry Group (WCG) in the local section. The WCG hosts multiple in-person outreach events every year- events that literally engage and impact over 1,000 people every year. When asked what she enjoys most about chemistry outreach, Sharon said, "I greatly enjoy encouraging young women to consider a STEM career, and spreading the knowledge of the chemistry of 'ordinary things'!"
