Meet Liem, of the most consistent bleps. In every photo I have of him, his tongue was sticking out of his mouth; according to folk from Woodland Park Zoo, where he used to live, his tongue was sticking out in the majority of their photos of him too! Liem now lives at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans as per the recommendation of the Malayan Tiger Species Survival Plan, where he’s currently basking in the warmth that’s such a contrast to the dreary PNW weather back home.

Here’s some otterly-cute snuggles for your cold winter morning. This photo was shot on a similarly cold day earlier this winter, but even after a quick dip in the pool, these North American river otters were well prepared to fight back the chill: a dense fur coat, a patch of sun, and of course... someone else’s body heat to steal! ▶️ Swipe for even more adorable! @ Woodland Park Zoo
