For the most part, the ports on the back of your PC are mostly the same. A couple of things to take note are the VGA and PS/2 ports. Newer PCs typically do not have these. Keyboards and mice used to utilize the PS/2 ports but now use USB ports. Most monitors now use HDMI instead of VGA.

If you replace your old PC with a new one, you may either have to buy new cables or invest in adapters to get the old cables to work due to certain ports going obsolete.

The bottom picture represents a more recent PC port setup. You can see that the VGA, Joystick, and printer ports along with the PS/2's are pretty much out of the picture. Manufacturers have added more USBs due to most peripherals now utilizing USBs.

Our customers often ask, " What does 'NOS' mean, anyway?"

The reason we are called "NOS" Computers is directly related to our mission as a company. NOS stands for Nitrous Oxide. Nitrous Oxide is used in racing to make racing cars faster. Basically, it represents speed. That's exactly what it means for us and that is our mission as a company. We will fix your PC and get it back to you same day or next. It means we offer a fast turnaround time for our customers when other computer companies take 2 - 3 times longer.

The long awaited 50 series GPU!

While technically released, it is still unavailable at many online retailers. Between high demand, scalpers, etc... it may be a while before we can even start ordering these new GPUs in for customers.

Also, MSRP says one thing in regard to pricing, but you can bet actual pricing is going to be much higher, at least for a while.

Still, if you have any questions, feel free to give us a call and we will do our best to find out as much as we can about the current availability on these.
