Heading to the Tucson AGM? There's still space available for the Friday, October 30 excursion to Tohono Chul Gardens (8am-12:30pm), and it happens to coincide with one of Tucson's signature seasonal events. Note that the big-room AGM opening Welcome begins at 1pm on Friday.

That day, Tohono Chul will be hosting its "Chiles, Chocolate, and Day of the Dead Festival," featuring local chocolatiers, artisan vendors, live entertainment, and festive activities throughout the gardens. It's a wonderful opportunity to experience a bit of Tucson's local culture while you're in town.

If you'd like to join the excursion, simply use the "Modify Registration" link in your AGM registration confirmation to add the tour to your schedule. We hope you'll come along!

AGM Registration & Hotel Update: The 2026 JASNA Annual General Meeting in Tucson has reached capacity, and conference registration is SOLD OUT.

If you were unable to register, you can join the waitlist through the registration system.

HOTEL ROOMS: The AGM hotel block is currently sold out. We are actively pursuing additional rooms and will share updates as soon as they become available. The JASNA AGM Update Center is where we are posting the longer, detailed messages about the hotel arrangements.

We will soon be emailing registrants who have not yet made a hotel reservation so that we can better understand their lodging plans—whether they are staying elsewhere, sharing accommodations, staying with friends, or making other arrangements. This information will help us determine the most accurate room count to pursue with the hotel. We would be very grateful for a prompt response to the questionnaire.

Hotel Update: The opening of hotel reservations went mostly smoothly today. The initial block of rooms for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday is now SOLD OUT. However, there's no need to panic or look for other hotels. We are in the process of adding more rooms. This requires a contractual amendment and signatures all around, we hope to see the addition spots come through tomorrow afternoon.

Planning to stay at the AGM hotel?

AGM registrants, please watch your email for important instructions about making your hotel reservation. To help ensure everyone has access to rooms during the AGM, the hotel is using a two-step reservation process for guests who need extra nights before or after the conference.

If you're only staying for the main AGM dates, the process is very straightforward. That block becomes available starting Tuesday June 23 at noon ET. If you need additional nights, you'll receive special instructions by email.

JASNA has secured a room block to meet AGM needs, and we're working closely with the hotel to make the reservation process as smooth as possible. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!

We saw tremendous interest when registration opened today, with hundreds of members signing up for the conference and related events. The good news: *Attendee and Attendee Plus registration remains open.*

As of 5:00 p.m. ET today (June 20):

- Attendee and Attendee Plus registration remains open.
- Companion spaces are currently sold out, but additional spaces will be added. If you'd like to join a Companion waitlist, email [email protected].
- Additional Attendee Plus spaces have already been released. If you'd like to upgrade from Attendee to Attendee Plus, or need assistance with your registration, contact the Registrar at [email protected].
- Tour, workshop, and dining event capacities are being reviewed to determine where additional spaces may be added.
