Trees for Tucson

We just have to say it… our nursery pots are officially living their best second lives! 😄🌱 A huge thank you to everyone who responded to our call for donations!

Most nursery pots can’t actually be recycled through regular curbside programs in Tucson. Even if they look recyclable, they’re often made of plastics that are too flimsy, too mixed, or too tricky for the sorting machines, so they usually end up headed straight to the landfill. 😬

Because of donations, these little pots are getting a glow-up! Instead of being tossed out, they’re now getting promoted to “multi-use plant housing units” (very fancy title, very important job). They’ll be reused again and again, hosting trees, shrubs, and plants as they grow, thrive, and outgrow their homes like tiny leafy overachievers.
