The Reality Of Cameras In An Increasingly Uncertain World

Security cameras, technology and information access are bigger deals every day for education and business. Having the ability for school police (college, trade, high school, middle school and especially elementary school) to monitor and have some semblance of control means safer students, safer officers and lower costs because they can better control resources. Early in my career when my team was tasked with developing the Tomahawk Cruise Missile, there wasn’t a product on a shelf we could use. Our team had to create the solution to build the product. As a rocket scientist I learned early on to give up on the “one size fits all” mentality. We had to think outside of the box while simultaneously designing a new box.

The needs of the Campus Police in a downtown setting like the University of Arizona are vastly different than the needs of an elementary school in a remote location. The same difference applies to a business that handles anything financial like a bank and a business close by that manufactures things like a Raytheon.
