¡¡La semana pasada nos tocó trabajar con Apollo Eagles!!!
Este grupo de estudiantes fue bien divertido de trabajar. Se sentía como tener a todos nuestros sobrinos y sobrinas en un taller.
🧀Haciendo queso:
Hicimos este taller en Apollo Middle School con las clases de 5to y 6to periodo. Tuvimos 4 estaciones donde los estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de aprender sobre las cabras y hacer queso de cabra.
🌽Visita a la granja:
Llevamos a los estudiantes a la granja para enseñarles el poder de organizarse en comunidad. Pudieron aprender sobre la granja, dar un tour rápido y después participar en algunos juegos de trabajar la tierra. Luego nos dividimos en 3 grupos: haciendo tortillas, jugar con cabritos y hacer bombas de semillas. Los estudiantes divertieron mucho, especialmente porque les tocó salir de la escuela por un rato.

Last week we got to work with the Apollo Eagles!!!
This group of middle schoolers was so fun to work with. It was like having all our nephews and nieces over for a workshop.
Cheese making🧀:
We held this workshop at Apollo Middle School with 5 period and 6 period classes. We had 4 stations where students got the opportunity to learn about goats and make goat cheese.
Farm visit🌽:
We brought the students to the farm to show them the power of organizing. They got to learn about the farm, so a shirt tour then move into some games about working the land. We then broke into 3 groups. Tortilla making, interacting with goat babies, and making seed bombs. The students had a really good time, especially since they got to skip school.
