We are so excited to introduce this year’s conference art, designed by Nizhonia Toledo. Nizhonia’s Artistry
“My name is Nizhonia Toledo. I am an Indigenous artist from the homelands of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation in Eastern Oregon. My work explores themes of cultural memory, identity, and resilience, drawing inspiration from Plateau landscapes, Native horsemanship, and the living traditions of my community. Through painting and visual storytelling, I honor the strength and continuity of Indigenous people while reimagining historical imagery through a contemporary lens.”
