Dr. James Watson explains how inadvertent discoveries of human remains are handled.

Human bone found in Catalina Foothills identified Many of the archeological remains found in Tucson are claimed by Native American tribal communities.

Also representing ASM at the SAAs in San Francisco this week is Dr. James Watson, who presented a coauthored paper in a session dedicated to reconstructing health in ancient northern Mexico. He also provided a workshop on, “Identifying Human versus Animal Bone.”
