1st Step Participant Highlight: Celebrating Malcolm M. & Mainor L.

1st Step is proud to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of Malcolm M. and Mainor L. as they successfully completed welding training and became welding certified through Tulsa Tech with support from Prosper OK. They also earned certifications in forklift operation, OSHA 10, and Frontline Leadership.

These accomplishments represent their hard work, commitment, and determination to build a better future. Both young men invested in developing valuable career skills, increasing their opportunities, and preparing themselves for long-term success in the workforce.

We are excited to celebrate that Malcolm has continued his journey by becoming employed at S*M Manufacturing, while Mainor has started his career with AAON. Their success demonstrates what is possible when young men are provided with opportunities, support, and the encouragement to pursue their goals.

1st Step is incredibly grateful to Prosper OK for providing vocational training opportunities that allow our young men to gain valuable skills, earn certifications, and create pathways to meaningful employment and independence.
