We are working on a new website to better flesh out all that we do. Here is a quick shareable we just finished today! If any of this brings up questions- ask! It's meant to be a talking point. And if it all makes sense, feel free to share with others and spread the word about what One River is all about - accessible prayer and unity in the Church!

Ok. This night did not go as planned. But I will say, I am amazed by God's love and protection, and by the reality of divine appointments and intervention. God really is present and active in our lives!

We were scheduled to take the Just Bus an hour away to the City Hall in Okmulgee for a prayer event led by Catch A Fire Ministries. We were so excited. There was going to be clothing and food giveaway, worship, and prayer. Anything that brings a City together in prayer is so our heartbeat.

And then - literally 7 minutes from City Hall - our tire blew. I mean it really blew. And we didn't have a spare. And we didn't have a tire change kit or jack. And we didn't have AAA. And we did not have the $1,500 wiggle room for a mobile mechanic. My heart sank at the thought of leaving it there on the side of the road, a sacred space full of prayer and Presence and God's intents and purposes.

I started researching. And at the same time that I started researching, our friend Zack Austin, from Tulsa, who was not intending to come to the event, just happened to drive by and see us. How random is that?? Except not random. Divine. Grace-filled. Because of his help, we were able to fix the tire for $150!

We got to the event just in time to help shut down. We saw baptisms and worship at city hall. It was beautiful. We got there in time to commit to not give up on road trip prayer outreach, even through the challenges thrown our way. And we got a gameplan for going to their next event at an Oklahoma jailhouse. We are on our way home and would honestly love prayer for safe travels if you see this tonignt.

If you have any desire to donate towards the Just Bus through our 501(c)(3), we would be so grateful. We need another tire to match the size of the one we just got, as well a spare, and tools if this happens again. We also would love to build up a budget for Bus repairs, and in time upgrades to our offerings like a sound system and large percolator. The link is just below.

June has been the month! Between sharing the Just Bus with The Well Church, taking it out to First Friday Art Crawl, and coming out to Whiteside Splash Pad with The Boiler Room, this prayer room has been on-the-move! We love making prayer accessible and bringing sacred spaces and opportunities to connect with God to people. Let us know if you want to join us as we go, or have us come to you!

The Just Bus finally made its way out to First Friday Art Crawl! It was SO sweet to have four friends with us, helping us introduce the Bus to people and pray for prayer needs as the opportunity arose. 💛 We are so excited to do this more and keep growing what we can bring and offer - thinking lemonade, bubbles, and a printed list of permanent prayer spaces for those who get inspired will be additions next month!
