As the 2025 calendar year winds down, the pace here at ABLE TAC is picking up.

We have a great year planned for 2026 with some new additions to our services offered, as well as streamlining some of our existing services to better serve you all.

You will also see a more prominent presence online with features like commentary from our own Leadfoot with his whimsical musings, as well as That's Messed up!, showcasing the multitude of situations we encounter every day while fixing your cars and trucks. The weirdest symptoms and their causes, you don't want to miss it.

Stay tuned for Leadfoot's regular return to Facebook on January 1, 2026, he is sure to keep things interesting.

The Auto Repair Before Christmas by Leadfoot

'Twas the auto repair before Christmas, and all through the shop,
not an engine was running, they're all safely stopped.
The air hoses all hung by the shop walls with care,
In hopes that compressed air soon would appear.

The cars are all parked, inside on the lifts
While brake jobs to transmission rebuilds, are done in a jiff
Rosey at her desk, and Bud under a truck
Trying to get this stubborn bolt, unstuck

When from the parking lot arose such a clatter
Rosey ran to the front to see what was the matter
Away to the door, Drew flew like a flash
To bark at the customer saying "I'm paying in cash!!!"

The noise underhood from the newly thrown rod
The customer shrugged, "it was an act of God"
When what to my wondering ears should appear
A screaching sound, when he put it into gear.

With a wild-eyed driver, I knew he drove quick
I put on my boots, because the @ #$%'s getting thick
More rapid than racecars, his buddies all came
They shouted ABLE's price is great, that other shop was insane

Hi everyone! Bud and I are collecting gifts for the nursing home again this year if yall would like to help. No pressure... just asking :-) .We are hoping to have everything collected by December 15th so that we can organize and get it to them in time for their Christmas party. Here is an Amazon list for the wish lists that I have so far...this is staff and some residents and a couple of the staffs children that need a little extra help this year. We greatly appreciate all the help that we can get. :-)
