1️⃣ LinkedIn doesn't show your post to everyone at once. It tests with a small audience first. If engagement is strong in the first hour, it pushes the post further. If not, most posts quietly stall right there.

2️⃣ Meaningful comments are far more valuable than likes for increasing your reach. A few real conversations under your post will outperform dozens of reactions every time.

3️⃣ Posts with external links consistently get less reach. And the old "drop the link in the first comment" workaround? Recent data suggests that's losing its advantage too.

Here's what stands out to me ➑️

The algorithm isn't counting applause. It's measuring whether people actually stop and engage with what you wrote.

If your content isn't sparking real conversation, it's not a reach problem.

It's a relevance problem.

Same rule applies. Know your audience. Speak their language.

There's a difference between sounding interesting and sounding clear.

Interesting gets attention.

Clear gets decisions.

I see this on LinkedIn all the time. A post gets likes because it's clever. But the person's DMs stay empty. Their inbox stays quiet. Nobody reaches out to work with them.

Why❓

Because the reader enjoyed the content but couldn't figure out what the person actually does. Or who it's for.

Clever hooks with unclear positioning is just entertainment.

Clear messaging with a specific buyer in mind is a business strategy.

You don't need to be more interesting.

You need to be immediately understood by the right person.
