TLDR: I wrote a book.
About 6 months ago I decided to try and write a short story for fun. I truly enjoyed it. I often found myself waking up at 3 am to write and laugh at my own dumb jokes while Lauren and Izzy slept. My short story quickly turned into a novel.

In the end I wrote Hurricane Creek. About a beautiful wilderness area in Newton county Arkansas. I have camped and hiked through this area on 3 different occasions. On the hike out the first time my group had a strange encounter that I always thought would be a cool book—It was boring—So I wrote a cast of strange characters that cross paths in the woods in what falls into a Southern gothic dark thriller category. It includes four friends out for their yearly mushroom fueled walkabout in the wilderness. A group of method actors who refuse to break character, and a hellbilly family who have lived near the creek for generations. Chaos ensues as paradise turns into a nightmare.
