July is National UV Safety Awareness Month, and at Covenant Living, we love spending time outdoors in the beautiful summer sunshine! However, staying sun-savvy is about more than just avoiding a temporary sunburn—it's a vital part of senior wellness.
To keep our community healthy and energized, we always remind our residents:
🧴 Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen: Use SPF 30 or higher to protect skin from harmful UV rays.
👒 Wear smart sun protection: Opt for stylish wide-brimmed hats and UV-blocking sunglasses to shield your face and eyes.
🌿 Establish a post-sun routine: Use a deep moisturizer or aloe-based lotion to soothe and hydrate skin after spending time outdoors.
Remember, the sun is strongest between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, so let’s enjoy those cooler morning strolls and shady afternoon patios together!

By trading her desk for her bike, Dawn hits the streets to meet residents right where they are—in their yards, on their porches, and in the heart of their neighborhoods. It’s all about those "small miles" that lead to truly "big moments" of connection.
