Students from Kansas, OK enjoyed their first week back to school at STARBASE Tulsa. Along with learning about Newton's Laws of Motion, building molecules, as well as building and launching straw rockets. Also doing the Roboitcs Challenge with Sphero's and Nano Technology with 2 different types of sand; the students were then treated to a demonstration by Mr. Wade's dad! He brought in his Marble Machine (patterned after Rube Goldberg). What a treat!

March 25, 2022, STARBASE was invited to provide a STEM activity at the annual Sonia Kovelevsky Day at TCC. "Sonia K' Day is hosted by the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance and is designed to empower the next generation of female mathematicians, scientists, engineers, and innovators. STARBASE Oklahoma Instructors Bela Power and Sandi Oney provided an activity introducing nanotechnology to approximately 30 young woman that were very interested and not to familiar with this new and exciting technology! As you can tell by the photographs they were "all in" in learning all about it and what STARBASE has to offer!
