Scam Prevention Tip: Don’t Click Unexpected Links

Scammers are getting very good at making texts and emails look real but one of the most common traps is a simple link.

If you receive a text or email you weren’t expecting, do NOT click any links.

Be especially cautious if the message:
⚠️ Creates urgency (“Act now!” or “Your account will be closed”)
⚠️ Asks you to verify personal or financial information
⚠️ Claims to be from Medicare, your bank, or a delivery service
⚠️ Contains spelling errors or strange-looking web addresses

What to do instead:
✔️ Go directly to the official website by typing it into your browser
✔️ Call the company using a verified phone number
✔️ Delete suspicious messages immediately

One wrong click can lead to identity theft, hacked accounts, or financial loss.

Staying cautious online is one of the simplest ways to stay protected.

Medicare Monday Tip: What is the "Best" Medicare Part D Plan?

One of the questions I hear most is:

"What's the best Medicare Part D prescription drug plan?"

The answer is simple: The best plan is the one that covers YOUR medications at the lowest overall cost.

When comparing Part D plans, don't just look at the monthly premium. Also consider:
✅ Are your prescriptions covered?
✅ What tier are your medications on?
✅ Which pharmacies offer the lowest cost?
✅ What is the deductible?
✅ What will your total yearly cost be (premium + copays + deductible)?

For 2026, Medicare Part D continues to include an annual cap on out-of-pocket prescription drug costs for covered medications, helping protect beneficiaries from very high drug expenses. Some prescription drug prices are also decreasing due to Medicare price negotiations.

If you would like a personalized Part D review, I'm happy to compare your options and help you choose the plan that fits your medications and your budget.
