NMLETC Tupelo

Today was the graduation ceremony for Class 2026-B-82. We would like to say thank you to all the Chiefs and Sheriffs that trusted us with their officers.

As we begin the final week, Week 12, at NMLETC tomorrow, Class B-82 has had a very busy last four weeks.

Everyone passed the 8-week PT test at 70 percent or higher, which is a fantastic accomplishment. The class also completed a full week of fi****ms training, and everyone passed the required score to be certified.

The class has also completed several important blocks of training, including Mississippi Constitutional Law with First Judicial District Attorney Jason Herring and Traffic Laws and Enforcement with M/Sgt. Bryan Morrow of the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

We also completed the annual Blue Run, and we want to thank everyone who came out to support the class. A special thank you to Tupelo Police Chief John Quaka and Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson. We are always appreciative of the support they give to NMLETC and our cadets.

The Mississippi Attorney General’s Office also spent several days teaching domestic violence laws, including scenarios and courtroom testimony. We appreciate everyone who gives their time to help us train and prepare the best police officers possible.

The final week will begin Monday morning with the final PT test. Graduation will be held this Friday, June 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Link Centre, located at 1800 West Main Street, Tupelo, MS.

We look forward to seeing everyone there.

We are now accepting cadets for the upcoming August Full-Time Law Enforcement Basic Class. This class is set to begin on August 10th and graduate October 30th.

The entrance PT tests are scheduled for June 9th and 23rd and July 21st at 9am at the Training Center.
