Clear Solar Solutions is looking for applicants with 2+ years of solar installation experience not related to solar farms, plus who have had previous experience as a solar installer. Salary and position offered based on experience.

Foreman Responsibilities

- Responsible for the successful installation of residential solar projects
- Organize, lead, and train crew members to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames
- Ensure attention to detail with an emphasis on safety, quality, customer service, and productivity
- Effectively manage all aspects of the construction workflow of the project to drive productivity
- Ensure that there is adequate materials and equipment to safely and efficiently complete projects;
- Effectively maintain project documentation and photo requirements
- Demonstrate knowledge of OSHA standards related to photovoltaic installations and enforce safety practices and standards
- Develop a positive working dynamic within installation crew; Analyze and resolve worker problems and recommend solutions; Maintain consistent and appropriate interface with customer throughout construction phase

General Responsibilities

- Installation and service of solar equipment for residential and commercial customers
- Perform main panel tie-ins
- Work with the warehouse team to pull materials for each installation job
- Prepare and clean-up job site
- Assist with the electrical wiring of all energy products
- Layout, assembly and installation of solar array and mounting hardware
- Provide a great customer experience
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Additional duties required as needed

Skills

-Must be able to lift 50lbs
-Ability to safely handle tools and materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc.
-Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.)
-Capable of working at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs; and performing repetitious duties, including lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time
-Experience using basic hand and power tools
-Basic computer skills preferred
-Excellent attendance is expected for the team to achieve success
-Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
-Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements
-Must have reliable transportation
