Deepest heartfelt thank you to Turlock Journal and Joe Cortez for this wonderful article about the CFA_Stanislaus -funded , , , etc., at Stanislaus State!! Our students are brilliant, driven, generous, persistent, and deserve all of the resources available to ensure their educational and life success and happiness! StanState students BELONG in college, are WORTHY of a classic liberal arts education, and DESERVE access to the things they need to thrive! The Stan State members of the California Faculty Association know this, and try to make sure students get what they need! If anybody ever wants the history of how this came to be, let me know and I’ll be happy to tell you. In the meantime, particularly special shout out go to Tamara Sniezek for writing a food pantry proposal every year for nearly a decade until we finally got it and the fabulous sociology major Nathaniel Romo for literally starting the first out of the back of his SUV in lot 5, and Steven Filling is the guy who got this whole thing formalized by refusing to give up and he is THE reason all of this is institutionalized!

Campus Cares keeps Stan State students warm and fed Stanislaus State students who might be struggling to make ends meet can get a helping hand thanks to the California Faculty Association Campus Cares Funds.
