Young writers learn as they go through camp Ten students were in the class for those going into TK up to third grade, with 11 students in the group going into fourth through seventh grades.

The Great Valley Writing Camp in Escalon’s 2024 theme is the Olympics. Each day they feature an athlete guest who shares their sport and the journey it takes to be competitive. Friday the speaker was our very own director Brett and he may have missed his calling as a primary teacher.

Our Waterford Summer Academy students, teachers, and families gathered Wednesday evening for a Celebration of Student Work. Each student was presented with a printed anthology, each student had the opportunity to read their work in Authors’ Chair, and then shared pizza and fixings. Parents and teachers were able to meet and share pride in the hard work all of these kiddos did during the month of June!
