Some sketching’ fun!

It's been a while since I've done one of the these, as this is what I love to do the! Tried some new techniques that stretched me a little, and there are a few adjustments that I need to make, but overall, I think it came pretty nice. This is for a teacher at one of our schools.

CD projects. Tuscaloosa band In the Pocket. And recording artist Rachel Bradford (my niece!). Although these were done a few years ago, I’m still proud of these! Every designer hopes to have creative freedom and produce a product that the client is happy with. I believe I achieved both here. It was a lot of fun to work with these folks, from the photography and design/layout to the proofs, just seeing it come to life and then seeing the finished product in its physical form, was a very cool process. Thank you Don and Rachel!

A sketch I did a few years ago. This is a farm house near Martin, TN.

So, last night, Alabama hosted the Tennessee Volunteers rugby club. And before the match, Malcolm, who has been with the club since about 1973, Matt, a former player, and a current player/captain with 12 matches under his belt, all received commemorative Crimson jackets at a presentation before the match. The crest I was commissioned to design, are on those jackets. I am stoked, to say the least!

A rugby crest I designed for the University of Alabama Rugby Sport Club. This will be an embroidered piece that will go on crimson jackets.
