So proud of our debaters for competing at the National Debate Tournament! ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

MacKenzie M and Kenzie H finished with a 6โ€“6 record, and Montgomery H and Evan D earned a 5โ€“7 record. Advancing required an 8โ€“4 record, so while the results werenโ€™t what we hoped for, the experience was incredible.

Our students competed against teams from Ohio, California, Oregon, Nebraska, Illinois, Utah, Arizona, and Oklahoma, while Coach Leigh Petty judged teams from Colorado, Montana, Hawaii, and Alaska.

Out of 192 teams nationwide, only 50 advanced to elimination rounds. Weโ€™re proud of how our students represented our school and grateful for the opportunity to compete on the national stage! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ†
