Tuscumbia City Schools extends our heartfelt condolences to the family of Dr. Bob Black.

For more than 22 years, Dr. Black faithfully served Deshler High School as Assistant Principal and Interim Principal, leaving a lasting impact on generations of students, faculty, staff, and families. He was a steady source of strength, wisdom, and encouragement, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer a kind word to anyone in need.

Dr. Black's leadership was rooted in honor, integrity, and genuine care for others. He believed in his students, challenged them to be their best, and led by example every day. His influence reached far beyond the walls of Deshler High School, touching thousands of lives throughout the Tuscumbia community.

While we mourn the loss of a remarkable educator and leader, we are deeply grateful for the legacy he leaves behind. His compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to serving others will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dr. Black will always hold a special place in the heart of the Deshler family, and he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all those whose lives he so profoundly touched.
