Orange County Rescue Mission

When Sheryl came to Orange County Rescue Mission, she was walking through one of the most difficult seasons of her life.

"It was pretty rough out there for a minute. You know, the path I chose got pretty dark..."

But here, she found more than a safe place to stay. She found healing, community, and a renewed relationship with the Lord. As she spent her days serving others in the kitchen, surrounded by caring staff, volunteers, and the beauty of God's creation, her life began to change.

"Hearing the animals in the morning and seeing His work of art when I open that door ... going to work in the kitchen and serving food for everyone. I just really got so much out of not making money off of that and doing it from the heart."

People's stories can always change — no matter how dark things look. Through God's grace and the support of a compassionate community, we see lives being restored every day.
