13-year-old Brontë “Squigs” has been part of our VCG family since March of 2023. What an incredible journey it has been. More than three years after being diagnosed with small cell lymphoma, she remains in remission and continues to bring joy to our team with her meows and corkscrew tail.

Named Brontë after the famous authors but lovingly nicknamed “Squigs” because of her adorable curly tail, she’s known for giving headbutts on command and happily drooling whenever she’s feeling especially loved.

Stories like Squigs’ remind us that cancer doesn’t define a pet, it simply becomes one chapter in a much bigger story filled with love, hope, and unwavering devotion. The bond between a pet and the person who loves them is something truly special. Thank you to her wonderful mom Maryela for trusting us with her care and for sharing the beautiful bond you both have. We’re honored to be a small part of Squigs’ journey! 🐾🩵💙
