13 YR OLD HANNA SETS NEW PB EXIT VELOCITY OF 69 MPH!!!! Hanna has been working hard since joining ELF and she’s been on fire. But, just like every hitter, she’s still got plenty of work to do. Well today she made a couple more adjustments and it really paid off. She absolutely destroyed a pitch during the front toss portion of the lesson!! Hanna met the pitch right off her front hip, cut the ball in half with the sweet spot of the barrel and drove beautiful through to extension. That ball went immediately from the sweet spot of the bat to the bullet screen directly at my forehead in less than a blink of an eye! Thank God for that bullet screen or my family would be planning my funeral right now!!

ELF Family, please help us congratulate Paige on yet another new personal best from her Pitching lesson on Tuesday evening!
This young lady, who just recently turned 12 yrs old, has been killing it over the last 6 months or so. Things really started to click for her and her mechanics & sequencing have been getting better and better every single week. This week was no different! Paige not only set another new personal best, but she saw her average velocities jump up again to the 49-50 mph range. Then she had an ahh-ha moment during her drop curve portion of the lesson. She was able to increase her spin rate, increased the velocity of this pitch and had much later break than she’s ever had.

ELF Family, please help us congratulate Ava on another new personal best from her pitching lesson on Monday!
Ava has been on an absolute tear lately! She has been setting new personal bests at almost every single lesson over the last month or so. Her work outside of lessons has ramped up big time and she’s seeing the direct results from that hard work with her improved accuracy, increased average velocity and top end speeds. Ava has reached her goal of 45 mph that she had set for herself a little ways back and now she’s got her eye on the Big 5-0! Let’s go get it young lady!!

Ava has been coming to ELF as a pitcher for over a year now, but this was her very first hitting lesson with ELF. After analyzing her swing and going through some progression drills to address those mechanical issues, Ava was able to make some of big adjustments right away as well! Those adjustments paid off with a new personal best Exit Velocity of 50 mph! Then she goes out to her game and crushes one in her first at bat of the night too! So far she’s 2 for 4 with 4 RBI’s since her first lesson with ELF!

Our new pitching mats were delivered today. Problem is that I ordered Green pitching mats and they delivered Black ones! What should I do? Keep the Black mats or have them ship out new Green ones?
