Wilfert Farms Update – 6/10/26 🍓🫛

Our 17-acre strawberry patch is looking beautiful! Blossoms galore and berries everywhere. Some of our early-season berries have already begun turning pink and red as they ripen for harvest. The warm temperatures over the past week have really pushed all of our crops along.

Be sure to keep an eye on our page and website for updates. We anticipate strawberry season beginning in some capacity within the next 7 days! 🍓

And now for the peas… 🫛

We know they’re one of the most beloved crops we grow—and we completely understand why. 😉 They’re my personal favorite, too! I headed out today and snapped a few photos of our first planting. Tiny pea pods are starting to form, and if all goes well, we’re hoping to be enjoying fresh peas by the end of June. 🤞🏼

Summer is coming, and the fields are giving us plenty to be excited about!

Now we’re just hoping Mother Nature sends us a nice, gentle rain over the next couple of days. No hail, no high winds—just a slow, soaking rain to keep these crops growing strong. 🌧️

Asparagus is SOLD OUT.
There is a limited amount of asparagus available for this morning.

Adding some additional moisture to the strawberries so they can continue growing and ripening. There are a lot of blossoms and strawberries on the plants.
