It is that time of the year to prepare your homes for the winter weather! Here are a few tips or reminders on how you can prepare your home!

1. Make sure you drain and turn off your sprinklers or irrigation systems.

2. Wrap exposed pipes and areas of your home that are not heated.

3. Make sure there are no cracks or leaks in your window seal or door frames!

4. Make sure your attics are well insulated

5. Get your chimney inspected and cleaned

Of course stock up on food, water and flash lights!
