It's hard to put yourself first when so many people depend on you. But I have learned the hard way that you MUST. If not, you are no good to those you love and reply upon you. I also learned younger eyes are always watching. Watching the good days, the bad days, how you take care of yourself and react in every moment of them. So I started to bring her along to show her that it is just as important to do this for ourselves and allows us to spend time together. Rather its a walk in the evenings or gym time teaching her how to use equipment and letting her get comfortable in a group setting. Both she is learning and seeing how it helps her own mental and physical health. So get up and do the hard things!! It's just as important as giving yourself grace when you truly can't get out of bed. You never know who is watching and learning from you.
