The Tyler Christian Quilt Guild was absolutely thrilled to host the incredibly talented Laura Strickland of Orange Blossom Quilt Design Studio from East Moline, Illinois at our last meeting! We were all so inspired as she shared her fascinating journey into the world of quilt design, from her humble beginnings to her current success. She took us on a step-by-step tour of her creative process, culminating with her exciting collaborations with Lori Holt and Riley Blake designs to create the most beautiful and unique fabrics. These are just a few of her award-winning design challenges that left us all in awe - her attention to detail, her use of color, and her ability to bring a quilt to life are truly remarkable.
