On Tuesday at Commissioners Court there was a Resolution for Female Veterans Day in Smith County.

If you don’t understand why there are people intentionally protecting “Nawf” Tyler while other special interests groups are pandering: I hope this helps you understand.

It’s important to have representation that views you and your family as valuable citizens who they call neighbors.

This isn’t a us vs them issue. And when we become divided unfortunately truth is hidden in rhetoric and lies.

Make a plan to get caught up on what’s part of the larger plans. And I encourage you to get involved.

Remembering comrades who paid the highest price to ensure our freedom in this great nation.

Memories that most veterans play over and again as we navigate through life.

Thank you to those who fought to be remembered. Who wouldn’t allow life to go on without acknowledging the sacrifices of sons and daughters wearing a uniform.

Veterans Memorial Park & Cemetery on HWY 64 in Tyler, Texas annual ceremony.

Yesterday with the Texas African American Museum in Tyler, honoring the life of Ms. KiKi Shepard. Her life and legacy will remain an exemplary example of what good rises from this community.

State of the City was an invigorating experience for many. We were excited to see the Leadership Tyler graduates and of course other incredible community partners.

Life on the square is under construction, that didn’t stop from patronizing local gem The Heritage East.

Tea was brewing, burgers were flying and laughs filled the room.
