Our overhead hoist system does a lot of the heavy lifting, literally, when it comes to moving beams around the plant. It makes handling pieces of that size possible, but it’s not just push-a-button and go.

There’s still a real level of care involved, especially when it comes to flipping the beams. It takes a steady hand, good coordination, and attention to every movement to make sure everything stays controlled and the beams come through without a mark on them!

Unalam would like to thank the village of Unadilla and Mayor Jake Cotten for honoring our history by installing a mini-version of one of our historic Silos at the main entrance to Unadilla!
