This clip breaks down the marriage of Safiyyah RA, a woman from a Jewish tribe who would have been enslaved after the death of her people. The Prophet ﷺ bought her, freed her, and married her and behind that single act was a mercy and a purpose that gets completely lost when we only ever hear surface-level explanations or bad-faith criticism.
