💕🐾 My Heart Just Walks a Little Slower Than My Paws. I'm Lydia and I'm only a year old, which means I still have plenty of kitten left in me.

I like being near people. I like gentle pets, kind voices, and knowing someone is happy to see me. 💗 If you sit down, there's a good chance I'll wander over to see what you're doing. Not because I'm nosy (although I am a cat) 😸 But because being close to my humans feels nice.

I always think I'm ready. Then someone reaches toward me with kind hands, a gentle voice, and suddenly I remember that wanting to be loved and believing I'll be loved aren't always the same thing. 🤍

Don't get me wrong... I want the love part.
In fact, that's probably my favorite thing. 🥰
But my heart walks a little slower than my paws. 🐾 So when we meet, I might take a moment to make sure you're really there. To make sure your kindness is the kind that stays.

Not because I'm scared of you. But, because I'm hoping you're the one I've been waiting for. 😻 The thing is, I still believe in people. 🌼 I believe in the person who will smile when they see me walk into a room. The person who won't mind that trust is something precious to me. The person who understands that the best things in life are worth a little patience.

If you're that person, you'll know❗️One day you'll look down and realize I'm beside you. Then behind you. Then waiting for you. Then choosing you over and over again without a second thought. 🐾❤️ I can purr-omise, that once my heart catches up to my paws, it doesn't know how to do anything halfway. It only knows how to love. 💕

And I think, no... I KNOW, that I'm going to be very, very good at that. 🐱

😺 We think adult cats deserve better marketing. Okay, so here's the situation.
I'm Hex. 🩶 That's Oliver. 🧡

We've been friends for so long that I honestly can't remember a time before him. We eat together, nap together 💤 and spend a good portion of our day judging the world together. 👀 It's a pretty solid arrangement.

What isn't so solid is the fact that we're looking for homes. 🏡 Not just homes... a family... OUR peeps!

Now before you keep scrolling because we're not kittens, hear me out. 🔊 You know how some cats take years to become their best selves? That's already happened. ✨ We're there. What you see is what you get, and what you get is two really good cats!

🐈‍⬛️ I'm the social one. If you're doing something, I'd like to know about it. Not because I'm nosy. Okay, maybe a little because I'm nosy. But mostly because I genuinely like being around my people. Wherever you are, I'll happily make myself part of the experience. 🐾

🐈 Oliver will come looking for affection, make biscuits like it's his full-time job 🍞 and somehow end up in hiding spots that should not physically fit a cat. 🙈 Honestly, I think half the fun of living with Oliver is wondering where Oliver is. 😹 He likes to know what's what before he commits, so let him explore his new surroundings and then be ready to share your space.

We'd love to stay together. We've spent years being a team 🤝 and we'd be lying if we said that wouldn't make us happy. 😻😽

But what we want most isn't necessarily the same home. It's a forever home. 🏡❤️
A place where we're loved, spoiled a little, spoiled a lot, and never have to wonder where we belong again.

Maybe that's together. 🐈🐈
Maybe that's separately.
Either way, we're ready.
