Jeff was accompanied by his sons, Lincoln and Teddy, on this extremely hot day. The competitive spirit among brothers was intense. Teddy commenced the day early, utilizing his reliable Zebco 202 rod with 6-pound test line. Despite not having the most expensive equipment, he managed to reel in the biggest catch, proving that success isn't solely dependent on costly gear. Although Lincoln caught more fish overall, both brothers had a great experience to share with their mother. In honor of my father's 80th birthday this week, we organized a short fishing trip for him before he heads back to Florida; the morning was enjoyable for Tina, Wayne Jr., and myself as we caught a lot of Smallmouth bass together and Tina volunteered to remove a lodged lure from the rocks.
