A wonderful customer named Susie grew up in Capitola and had her first date with her now-husband (pictured) at Pizza My Heart in 1988—clearly a solid choice all around.

More than 26 years of marriage later, they’re still stopping by for a slice of pesto pizza. Some traditions are just too good to quit.
