He is risen!

Good morning. Today we celebrate Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is not just a holiday or tradition. It is the foundation of the Christian faith and the greatest demonstration of love in history.

Through His sacrifice on the cross and His victory over death, we are offered forgiveness and salvation. The truth is that every one of us has fallen short. We have all sinned. None of us are perfect, no matter how good we try to be.

Many people say, “I am a good person.” But good according to whose standard? Have you ever lied? Gossiped? Felt hatred toward someone? Lusted? Been prideful? We all have. God’s standard is perfection, and none of us can reach that standard through our own efforts.

The message of Easter is that we are not saved by our works alone. We are saved by grace. Jesus lived the perfect life we could not live, and He paid the price we could not pay. Through Him, we are offered a path to forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life.

John 3:16 reminds us:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Easter is a reminder that no matter our past, no matter our mistakes, there is hope. There is forgiveness. There is new life.

If you have been searching for meaning, peace, or direction, today is a perfect day to turn to Christ. He offers grace, mercy, and a fresh start.

He is risen indeed.

Let’s Talk About Special Event Security

Special event security is one of the most misunderstood areas of private security.

Events bring together large crowds, unfamiliar environments, temporary infrastructure, alcohol, and compressed timelines. That combination increases risk even when everything appears calm.

Effective event security starts with understanding the event itself. The type of crowd, the layout, ingress and egress points, hours of operation, lighting conditions, and the presence of alcohol all matter. Staffing levels and post assignments should be based on those factors, not on budget alone.

Security personnel must be trained specifically for event work. Event security is not the same as static or site security. Officers need to understand access control, crowd behavior, early indicators of conflict, and how to intervene without escalating situations.

Clear command and communication are critical. Officers need to know who they report to, how to relay information, and how incidents are handled before the event begins. When issues arise at events, there is little time to figure things out on the fly.

Cutting corners in event security usually does not show immediately. It shows when there is a medical emergency, a fight, an unauthorized entry, or a failure to control crowd movement.

At that point, the margin for error is small.

Professional event security is risk management. Done correctly, most people never notice it. Done poorly, everyone does.
