Sometimes after you think somethings complete, you step away and realize somethings unsettling and just feeling wrong. After looking back at photos, I realized it was the art work over my clients mantle that seemed to fight its surroundings, after I decorated for the holidays. The piece was just too strong and commanding too much attention rather than settling in and working cohesively with her Christmas decor. So I went back today armed with a sure solution. A classic timeless Mantle mirror. Immediately it felt right. More elegant and relatable to its surroundings, and ultimately confirming to trust my instincts. I then added some lights to the mantle dressing, and Voila! And now, I can let it go! 🙌🏼
