98 Octane Foundation
We’re 98 Octane, we offer a full curriculum specially designed for the military, first responders, and others who serve, to get their health back on track.
Sugar feeds the problem.
Jess Higgins Kelley, MNT, ONC and John New talk about what is really bogging so many of us down.
Excess sugar feeds inflammation.
It feeds weight gain.
It feeds cravings.
It feeds the cycle of depression, shame, and poor health.
And yes, cancer cells use sugar too.
This is not about fear. It is about awareness.
The fuel we put in our bodies matters. For our veterans, first responders, families, and communities, the fight for better health starts with understanding what is happening under the hood.
At 98 Octane, we are here to educate, advocate, and help people take back control one choice at a time.

98 Octane showed up at Chester County Veterans Affairs’ Summer VETFest 2026 at West Chester University of PA.
We connected with veterans, first responders, families, volunteers, and community partners, and had real conversations about health, service, and the work still ahead.
Our mission is simple:
Help military, veterans, and first responders live longer, stronger, healthier lives.
One conversation at a time.
One county at a time.
One life at a time.
Thank you to Chester County for having us, and a huge thank you to Alex from AdaptableStrength.com and our veteran volunteer Jacob for showing up and supporting the mission.
The Battle of Bulge continues timing type and total are the topic of this episode.
If it's made in a plant avoid it if it is a plant eat it. We all have an opportunity to take the steering wheel back.
Start today.
Small choices matter.
Beautiful day at General George Washington’s Valley Forge Park.
This is where purpose gets real.
Our first volunteer Army fought with limited resources, brutal conditions, and everything on the line.
They helped build the freedoms we live with today.
We owe it to them and to ourselves to stay disciplined, stay healthy, and maintain what they fought for.

FirstResponders
from speaks out on what's truly going to help you in your life.
Is it supplements?
Is it peptides?
Is it red light therapy?
Is it the next new thing?
Or is it just the fundamentals.
Low energy is not normal.
Feeling tired, soft, foggy, irritated, and unmotivated is not “just getting older.”
For military, veterans, and first responders, your body is part of the mission. If your fuel, sleep, training, stress, and habits are wrecked, your performance will be too.
Testosterone is not just about ego. It is connected to energy, drive, recovery, confidence, strength, mood, and resilience.
You do not need gimmicks. You need standards.
Start here:
✅ Lift heavy things
✅ Get sunlight daily
✅ Sleep like it matters
✅ Cut back on sugar and processed food
✅ Limit alcohol
✅ Lose the belly fat
✅ Eat real food with protein, minerals, and healthy fats
✅ Take your recovery seriously
✅ Get bloodwork if something feels off
Your body is not a rental.
It is the vehicle that carries your mission, your family, and your future.
Stop running on cheap fuel.
98 Octane, helping heroes live longer, stronger, and healthier lives.
Hot dog gone. Problem solved.
Everybody laughs until you realize processed meat is in the same Group 1 carcinogen category as to***co and alcohol. That’s not hype. That’s IARC.
Stop acting like this stuff is harmless just because it’s normal.
Normal is what’s getting people buried early.
Food is fuel.
And that junk ain’t 98 Octane.
Make better choices. Protect the engine.
98 Octane.
