Big news that affects a LOT of people and it's not getting enough attention. 👇
Cigna just announced they are leaving the Obamacare marketplace at the end of this year. That means 369,000 people across 11 states need to find new health insurance before January 1, 2027.
Here's what happened in plain English
A few years ago the government added extra help to make Obamacare plans more affordable. Millions of people signed up. It was actually working.
Then Congress let that extra help expire. The Trump administration didn't renew it. Premiums went up fast. People started dropping their coverage because they just couldn't afford it anymore.
When customers leave, insurance companies follow. Cigna did the math and decided to walk away. And they aren't the only ones Aetna already left last year and UnitedHealth and Centene are shrinking too.
If you or anyone in your family has an Obamacare plan through Cigna you need to act.
Open enrollment starts November 1, 2026. You WILL need a new plan.
