Healing doesn't end when surgery is over.
This January, Liv joined the FACES Surgical Team in Peru, where she used her expertise as an esthetician to provide microneedling treatments for older patients with cleft lip scars.
Even after a successful cleft repair, many children and adults are left with visible scarring. Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that stimulates the body's natural collagen production, helping soften scars and improve skin texture over time.

En enero, Liv se unió al Equipo Quirúrgico de FACES en Perú, donde puso su experiencia como esteticista al servicio de los pacientes, realizando tratamientos de microneedling para ayudar a mejorar la apariencia de las cicatrices por labio fisurado.
