The memorial for my dad will be at my shop 12209 NE 4th plain on saturday June 7th, 11:00am to 3:00pm. This will be a classic car gathering. Come and go as you please, no trophies , no judging just a lot of car B.S and bench racing. I’m working on a food cart and/or a coffee cart but not confirmed yet. This will be a respectful event. Burnouts, stereo blasting and exhaust popping will not be tolerated. Most of the other shops in my complex are participating as well as State Patrol so these rules will be enforced.
There will be various types and makes of cars attending but I would prefer mostly classic cars, trucks and motorcycles that my dad was interested in .
Please come join in. My dad (Gerry) enjoyed hanging out at the shop and sharing car stories with everyone. My entire family will be there and would love to hear any memories of him.
This is not an easy time for me. I appreciate all the support and people offering to help, but I think it’s under control for now. Showing up and being positive is the best thing you can do. If you plan on coming maybe say so on this post so I can get a rough idea. Officially there’s 75 parking spaces and we need to figure out ahead of time how to best use them.
